Fuctions:

Service on time,every time! Every 5 hours of operation CLEAN AIR FILTER.

will flash,Every 10 hours of running CHANGE OIL will flash,at 20 hours of

operation the meter will flash VALVE SERVICE. ALL functions count down

showing your balance of time before scheduled service. Functions are re-settable

when you hold the button down for 5 seconds. Meter include total hours

accumulated mode that is non-erasable

Installation:

WARNING:

Turn engine off, Disconnect spark plug wire from spark plug. De-energize the starting system on engines equipped with meter starters.

1. Choose a location where pick-up wire(included) will reach from the meter

to the spark plug.The meter should be installed in a location which is easily

viewable and is free of dirt,grease,and oil.

2. Loop pick-up wire into meter though holes(see figure 1).

3. Fasten the meter to mounting surface with tape. If needed ,use two tie wraps

4.Route wrie to spark plug wire and loop around outside of spark plug wire

(see figure 2 )

5.TESTING METER:Run the engine as normal,on the left side of the meter

is an hour glass icon. If this icon is blinking your installation correctly and the HOUR METER is recording running time. If the hour glass icon is not blinking

repeat installation instructions above.

CAUTION:Keep all wires clear of extremely hot engine parts, such as exhaust

area, and keep clear of any rotating parts. Cuts or burns to the wires can cause

a short and the hour meter will stop working.

OPERATING:

1.Each service function(air filter,oil change,service valves) count down it’s

time to service as the engine counts hours. If you push the button and

scroll through the meter it will show you how much time is left before each

service function is due.

2. When you reach a service function the meter will flash the service required

“CLEAN AIR FILTER NOW” “CHANGE OIL NOW” “SERVICE VALVES NOW”

That service function needs to be performed and will stay flashing.Perform

the required service.

3.To clear and reset service,hold down the button while in the flashing

service window.
